St Paul Home InspectionSt Paul is the capital of Minnesota and the just to the East of Minneapolis. It is the other half of the Twin Cities. St Paul is similar to Minneapolis with some older homes dating back to the late 1800's. But most of the homes where built in the 1940's to 1960's. But recenetly (before the housing market crash) there was a focus on Condiminiums like many other larger cities. Many people wonder if Condos need to be inspected. Condos may not be as big of an investment as a Single Family Home but they still are quite a large investment. Therefore I highly recommend getting you new condo inspected. I have come up with special pricing for Condo Inspections. You can check my prices out on my Condo Inspection Price page. But keep in mind that these prices are much lower because the exterior of the bulding is not inspected. It is considered an Interior inspection. Just like Minneapolis, St Paul doesn't have as many Townhouses as some of the Suburban cities but there is still a fair amount of them in the city. And they require an inspection that is in between a single family inspection and condo inspection. If the townhouse's exterior is covered by the association fee then I offer an interior inspection that can save you some money but a full inspection is still available if you wish. St Paul is one of the oldest cities in the state of Minnesota so there are many homes that are over 100 years old. These homes offer great character with hard wood floors and build ins. And sometimes they even have very ornate wood work that you just don't get with newer homes. But with these older homes there are many more issues to check for and the Home Inspection can take an extra hour or two. That is why I charge a little more for these inspections. You can see what my prices are for these homes on my Home Inspection Price page. |
